Staszak Outstanding Educator of the Year Award

Nominations are Now Open for the 2026 Staszak Educator of the Year Award

We are seeking nominations of D97 educators for the Staszak Educator of the Year Award who exemplify devotion and commitment to the students of D97. Any staff member of D97 is eligible for this award. February 6th is the deadline to submit your nomination.

Each year, OPEF awards the Staszak Outstanding Educator of the Year Award to an outstanding and exemplary D97 educator for devotion and service to the students of D97. The Staszak Outstanding Educator of the Year Award was established to honor the legacy of William Staszak’s commitment to the Oak Park community. Mr. Staszak served as a Village Trustee and was a devoted member of the Board of Directors of the Oak Park Education Foundation.
