At the end of the school year, Beye 5th graders studied art, music and literature from the turn of the 20th century in Paris. They invited Architecture Adventure to help build a legacy to the school. After much discussion, the group decided that the Hector Guimard Metro Stations were the best architectural example from that time.

The 5th graders learned about Art Nouveau, map making and structural design. And then with structural help from Tom Wegener and Laura Young (local Architects), they built an actual Paris Metro Station at the entrance to the school library.
