The Staszak Educator of the Year Award will be presented at Bingo Bash. Staszak Outstanding Educator of the Year Award

We are excited to announce that Jennifer Jaros, Multilingual Teacher at Holmes Elementary, is the recipient of the 2024 Staszak Outstanding Educator of the Year Award!

Jennifer was chosen for her work as a beloved teacher and advocate for multilingual students and for her dedication to meeting the needs of new migrant families to Holmes.

In addition to winning the 2024 Staszak Award, Jen was recently honored by the Illinois Education Association as the co-recipient of the 2024 Reg Weaver Humanitarian and Civil Rights Award for her organizing work to support asylum seekers from Venezuela.

We will be honoring Ms. Jaros during our Bingo Bash event on May 10th. Get your tickets today!
