The 4th graders at Holmes Elementary School learned about the impact of the Great Chicago fire on our city and its architecture. Using all recycled materials, they worked with art teacher Jon Kristofer to create 16 buildings from the skyline.
This Architecture Adventure project with the help of volunteers Kristy Sloniger, Meaghan Struebel, Sue Ryba, Megan Evans and Barb Rohm Rossa, as well as Lisa Sorensen and Architecture Adventure Program Coordinator Adrienne McMullen.
