There was a buzz in the Gwendolyn Brooks Commons as dozens of Oak Park area families became digital puppets, built LEGO spinning tops, constructed a quilt pattern, created a colorful “Welcome to BASE Camp” banner, designed stained glass windows, and drove VEX bots! Parents were also able to learn more about and sign up for Summer 2015 BASE Camp.
Check out the great photos of families engaged in the hands-on projects. Thanks to Paul Goyette Photography for the fabulous shots.
