Longfellow 4th graders learned about architect Frank Gehry and his style of architecture known as Deconstructivism. Gehry is well known in Chicago for the signature stainless steel headdress at Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.
The students in Jenny Raia’s art class worked to design their own Gehry-style facade with foam core and foil tape, and then proudly showed off their works of art.
