We’re thrilled to announce that local TV host and nice guy Mark Bazer has once again agreed to host the OPEF Annual Staszak Gala.
The gala will be held on March 17th at the gorgeous Columbus Park Refectory. Tickets are now available online.
Mark’s day job involves working for the Man, a man named Leo Burnett to be exact. By night, he serves as the host/executive producer of the PBS talk show The Interview Show.
In 2008, Mark launched The Interview Show as a way to have substantive and entertaining conversations with notable Chicagoans. Now a syndicated TV show with national guests, The Interview Show will appear in 60+ markets beginning in April 2018. It’s filmed at The Hideout, an iconic dive bar in Chicago. When Mark isn’t at Leo or hosting his show, he’s also a freelancer writer, including as a contributing writer to Chicago magazine. Mark and his wife Gina have two boys in District 97 schools.
Mark’s warmth and humor received rave reviews at last year’s auction and the auction committee is thrilled to have this local talent once again helping to raise money for District 97 students.
