Join us on Saturday, February 7, at Percy Julian Middle School in Oak Park when 36 middle school VEX Robotics teams will compete for the opportunity to attend the Illinois VEX Robotics State Championship. Teams will be attending from throughout the Chicago area, including Oak Park, Berwyn, Elmwood Park, Elmhurst and Chicago.
The OPEF 2015 Battle of the Bots, which runs from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, is free and open to the public. There will be a jumbo projection screen featuring live video scoring and information, an emcee and DJ as well as food and snacks for sale. Trophies will be distributed by State Senator Don Harmon to the teams earning the most points or winning judges’ awards for innovation, design and sportsmanship.
